We start with a free onsite consultation where we assess your existing home, measure up, discuss your goals, and give professional advice on what’s achievable.

What you’ll receive:

• A clear discussion of budget expectations
• Advice on layout options
• Guidance on approvals, council and feasibility

Once your concept is confirmed, design and engineering is required before we can provide final pricing and commence construction.

You can either:

• Organise your own designer/architect/engineer, or
• Engage ADG to manage design and engineering for an additional fee

This stage ensures the extension is compliant, buildable, and properly planned before construction begins.

Once design and engineering is ready, we move into our Prelim Stage.

This includes:

• Detailed project review and scoping
• Site investigation and feasibility checks
• Preliminary planning and project setup
• Selection guidance (tiles, fixtures, colours, finishes)
• Build strategy and sequencing planning

*The Prelim fee is fully deducted from the final contract price if you proceed with ADG.

Once selections and scope are finalised, we issue a full formal quote and contract with clear inclusions, timelines, and expectations.

This is where your project becomes fully locked in.

After contracts are signed, your project enters the construction phase.

Timeframes generally range from:

• 3 months (smaller extensions / renovations)
• Up to 9 months (larger structural extensions)

What happens during this stage:

• Start date confirmed
• Site establishment and safety setup
• Structured trade scheduling
• Weekly progress and clear communication

You will have direct contact with your assigned site supervisor throughout the project.

You can expect:

• Regular schedule updates
• Onsite coordination of trades
• Ongoing communication and progress tracking
• Quick responses to questions and variations

Once works are complete, we conduct a full walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets expectations.

At handover we will:

• Complete a final inspection together
• Note any minor defects/omissions (if required)
• Rectify outstanding items quickly
• Provide a smooth final sign-off process
