Design Process

Phone Consultation

Before we begin the design process, a phone consultation with our lead designer is required. This allows us to assess the scope of your project and advise on feasibility before any site visits or drawings are prepared.

Fee: $499

Note: This fee will be credited towards your full design package if you proceed.

Stage 1 – Concept Design | $0.00 inc. GST

• On-site design consultation and measure-up
• Existing floor plans and elevations documented
• Site position of house relative to boundary fences (note: a formal survey may be required, at your cost)
• Initial sketch of proposed alterations/additions, compliant with local council regulations
• Preliminary plan set including:
• 3D visualisation
• Existing/proposed site plans
• Floor plans & elevations
• Planning constraints and overlays (if applicable)

Stage 2 – Refine & finalise | $0.00 inc. GST

• One complimentary in-office meeting to discuss the preliminary design
• Up to 3 rounds of revisions to ensure the design meets your needs
• Final set of construction drawings
• CAD files (DWG) for engineers and your records

Optional introductions to an Engineer and Building Certifier

Optional: Detailed 1:20 Room Plans

For rooms like the Kitchen, Pantry, Laundry, Bathrooms, Powder Room, Walk-in Robe

• Includes detailed 3D visualisations for each room
• Price available upon request, depending on number of rooms

Timeframes

• First draft of plans: Approx. 3 weeks after measure-up
• Revisions: 7–10 days after each round of feedback
• Lead time for onsite measure-up: ~2 weeks after the phone consultation

Fee Schedule & Conditions

• Fees are due at the start 
• Additional revisions or changes to the original scope: $180/hr (inc. GST)
• Additional in-person meetings: $350 each (after the included two)
• Scheduled phone consultations are free
• Email communication is preferred for clarity and tracking
